Paris will defiantly look more sexy when you see the illumination of the call /end buttons, navigation pad and other buttons
Cuz right now it is a little bit dark when look at the bottom side of the phone screen

I'm sure you're right, but I care far less about how the buttons light up than I do about the actual specs. If the phone does everything I want with the speed and ease of use I expect then the buttons could be purple for all I care.

First of all, thanks to everyone involved with getting the video and pictures uploaded in recent weeks and months.

Initial thoughts are that it looks good - nice form factor, seemingly quick transitions and slick looking.

Lets just hope the announcement and specifications are released soon so we can get a review from Peter Kay, who seems to have been using a very different device from the ones that have been (pre)reviewed recently.

A question that, as far as i know, hasn't popped up yet:

Is the slider construction wobbly or bad made?

btw, thanx guys for the video.

Another Paris feature spoken very seldom of: the dpad. Is it optical, touch sensitive or is it behaving like an actually mechanical 4 or 5 way button? Does it at all include the possibility to confirm choices ("press down")?

Wow, I realize that these are all valid questions. But shouldn't we at least find out the big things, like proc, screen res, screen size, before we start wondering how the d-pad works or how tight the slider is.

I look forward to the day when these are the biggest questions left to answer!

Agreed, though sadly I think expecting anything else than 208 MHz, 2,6" and QVGA equals clinging on to something that won't happen.

Cool, can't wait

Its interesting, in the video, the light up controls are activated in the video player and google maps. Maybe its not like that anymore, but that would make certain cool features pretty convenient (eg making a video fullscreen quickly to show to someone).
