If a updated FW came out for my K850i it would be great, especially if they put new features in it. But if one doesn't come out, then no big deal. My K850i is very stable for the most part and will last me at least another year.

Who the hell is KE? It seems he or it started all this. According to the above website r1ga031 was supposed to be released late July but because of a bug it was delayed to first week of August.

Its okay. I think we all can wait for next few days. But one thing is for sure that we all love our K850i. And our K850i is still capable of kicking ass of latest phones.

GOOD NEWS: OK as I said earlier, I have been talking to an insider, and he has now confirmed that it is real! I am not going to reveal his identity for the sake of his privacy and so that people don't PM him every 2 mins. Here is what he PM'd me about an half an hour ago:
Listen, i know and understand the feelings of all the people and here's what i have to say:
I saw the BETA version, and i know that SE Labs have been working on K850's new firmware ever since Java FX was announced. Maybe or maybe not, you might have seen the news report? Remember? The man demonstrating Java FX in one of the videos was using K850, and i knew that there would be a firmware update sooner or later.
I got in touch with a Sony Ericsson insider who had been using my (censored to keep identity safe). I requested to be updated on the new firmware and HE CONFIRMED THAT NEW FIRMWARES FOR OLD A2 MODELS ARE INDEED BEING WORKED ON.
I got a chance to try the final BETA (only the MAIN, not the FS). Here is the proof. I took this pic through my K790, check EXIF for more information.
Now the fact is, R1GA031 is COMPLETE AND READY. That's what i can tell you. If Sony Ericsson choose to delay its release, what will be my fault? You ought not to blame me, but well, do as you wish.

I did remove some info to keep his identity safe, I have respect for this guy and know he doesn't want to be bombarded with PM's.

Wow. From the start, i knew that this is real and i can already imagine myself taking picture with face and smile detection from my K850i.
