What can i say, iam a die hard /// fan.... there affiliation with Sony was not all bad, sony has good products and a better factory than /// on there own, they would not have been able to keep up globally.... but now the merge with SAGEM.... not sure i trust the french!!

theres a saying, " rather the devil you know than the devil you don't "

@Doopsy: Don't get it twisted, I love but in their quest to grow marketshare they released something like the P990 which IMHO should've been cancelled when developers experienced problems with UIQ 3.0.
Off topic: Anyone sighted the Z610i in local stores? I saw someone using it the other night and he was recording video which looked quite bad on the phone's screen.

Somebody brought an older sibling's Z610i to me the other day, with the request to put on some games and sort out the mms function. It's really elegant-looking, but as you said Brix, the video playback looked a tad poor. There was no flash either, none that i could detect anyway. Not a bad phone at all though..

Ya, the Z610i has no flash and that horrid auto-focus-less 2mp cam.

The new W610i is too similar in specs to the W810i, so it's really not much of an upgrade.
The W850i is great if you can live with less-than-decent pics and you're insistent on having another Walkman phone.
The K810i should be out very soon, but this is a slimmer, newer rehash of the very capable K800i. If you're not bothered with smartphones like the P or M series (or W950), it may be worth checking out. It meets your mentioned criteria and more.
Here's a link with pics and specs:

@W810iv: Do check out the w880i as well. Its slim, with the same specs as the w850. Forget the camera, it has several other features that ur w810i doesn't. It has 3g, video calling, blogging, full internet browser, rss feeds, walkman player2 (sounds way better than w810i imo), it comes with 1gb memory, multitasking java applications, and some other refinements. Only bummer is the lack of radio. Good luck choosing. Stick to the w850i or w880i. Best music phones atm.

Hey guys, I have a question, I wanted to start a new thread, but decided to ask here first. I noticed that some people in Esato say that they have the option of updating their SE phone's firmware on SEUS even if it says they already have the latest firmware, while some people don't have such an option, why is that so?

@ deluded,
Really not sure about that one; a wild guess is that possibly some of the f/w updates are network firmware related, hence the possible disparity.

@ guys,
Mobilefun and Mphone in the UK now have the N95 in stock.

@Falcon786: My friend got a P990 when it became available last year...He was initially impressed with the specs but soon fuming when got several "kern exec error" messages whenever he tried using some of the built-in applications. I suggested he get a firmware update but he was ready to return the phone to MTN out of frustration. In the end he kept it after several fw updates and got one of those Ultra Edition Samsung's as his second phone. Have not checked back with him about P990's recent behaviour.

@ da brixsta,
Another indifferent performance from the Gunners today, losing 4-1 to Liverpool. Peter Crouch scored a hat-trick.
