You should do a side by side shot
for me, the silver looks better than the black c901, especially when the screen is turn off, you got two tone.

I noticed focusing was different in the radier camera driver than the driver by jigonx, its possible the one by jigonx could focus closer - better macro, but thats just a guess because i havent compared them (raider is far better anyhow)
Simply move camera further away from the object - half press shutter button to preview focus (great feature)

Me and Jigonx uses exactly the same AF settings. It's not possible to have different results except of some random situations where AF have no idea what to do

I didn't tried to improve (if possible) anything in AF yet.
