But TFT's more legible under direct sunlight when viewed...isn't it?

Definitely, OLEDs are a joke in direct sunlight. Superb indoors though!

Not sure if there's any credibility to that claim, but if the screen uses OLED, then i'm sure they actually mean AMOLED, everything else would just be silly. (AMOLED is a kind of OLED display used for mobile displays due to the lower power requirements)
If the display is AMOLED, then it also uses TFT, so i'd guess whatever difference in viewing is due to the technology used, be it LCD or OLED.

As someone with duff eyesight! I need the 4inch screen and it needs to be bright, I was under the impression OLED was the brightest you could get and it gave the best battery life, I may be wrong but I am sure Samsung and Toshiba made a big fuss about that when the started making them?
Battery life is the only complaint I have with my Nokia 5800xm, I have to slot in a spare battery most evenings, (But as I use it pretty much 14 hours 6am - 8pm straight every day, I don't really have anything to complain about!

I had to watch that promotion video of Google Maps Navigation again just to be able to imagine it to Xperia X10.
It will look really fantastic to its great display, just hope you can buy a phone holder to fully enjoy Google Maps Navigation in landscape mode while driving.

Wow, Google outperform them self every time, don't they?
I've been waiting such a long time for a good Android phone, and soon it's here!
Having it all in one phone, streaming music thru Spotify, navigation by google, Facebook and the rest of the world wide web in your pocket.
Happy Days!
