S20+ has two camera of almost same FL.
One is just for digital zoom and 8K.
Pointless.
Better making a 50MP 1/1.5" Bayer instead.
Get rid of DVS amd use space for a 1/1.5" mono.
Does it mean crappy 1/3.4" isocell for UWA again?
I bet Apple dropped isocell because they were not satisfied.

Zack - I would have been happier if it matched the camera specs of the ultra if not exceeded it with Sony specific tech

The S20 Ultra is super expensive, I'd rather have the iPhone for that money. Personally, if I dump Sony it'll be for OnePlus but I'm loving the Xperia 5 and I'll probably get it's successor

It seems they listened to their customers with the Xperia 5 and made some improvements, which is a good sign that they are prepared to make changes.
I think they have compromised on the materials they have used in the past on the Compact range, for instance, giving the Z5 an Aluminium frame but the Compact version only Plastic.
The Compact range sort of lost it's 'sheen'. The Xp5 though, corrected that.
