Close-up of the upholstery on the chairs in one of the conference rooms.
'Ham' is the old Roman word for 'town' or 'settlement'.

Have to put my hands up and plead ignorance as regards TyTN pricing in SA. Yeah.
I've read about the music player. Then again the thing has got EDGE, whereas the P990i not. Neither of these may be train smashes, more horses for courses, but if there's a notable difference between the handset prices, well that just makes one's decision a whole lot easier, I guess.

@ W810iv,
Check the comparison out:
Dimensions and phone format aside, there's little in it apart from a few difs like the W660 having HSCSD ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HSCSD ) and the newer memory stick micro M2 memory cards.

http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone2=1563&idPhone1=1924

The Nokia 7700 never hit the market; it was held back and revamped and then released as the 7710.
This is quite a different beastie to the Walkmans you have mentioned. It has (biiig) touchscreen input, but was not a huge success for Nokia, well here in Europe anyway. Awkward dimensions and no handy 'flip' with its phone-related functions n' layout like the P990 has.
It operates on the Series 90 platform tthough, so check what applications are available...
Strangely enough, the only person I saw with one was when I was last home in 2005. A distant relative got one through MTN.
There are reviews to be found about its performance with a bit of googling.

Oops... I think I didn't make my question clear enough. Was posting from my phone and there's a text limit. Heh... Anyway, what I meant was, some posters here say that SEUS actually gives them an option to "Continue Anyway", even when they already have the latest firmware on their phones, while some others (like myself) do not have such an option if they already have the latest firmware. There's no option for me to "Continue Anyway" when I connect my phone and SEUS detects that I have the latest firmware. I don't think having a locked phone should make a difference (mine's unlocked as far as I know, in any case) since we're talking about being able to just flash the latest firmware even if it's the same as the one on the phone.

Okay, I'll admit I might have been a bit over-enthusiastic about the price of the TyTn. R5500 would be a bargain but it's more likely to cost in the region of R7000...Thing is, not too many people buy these phones cash.
