Well, apparently the N95 has just gone on sale in Europe and Asia with the rest of the world to follow soon. ( info from Prodigits and MobileReview forums) The E90 looks even better - that is if one does not mind the weight.

The N95 is indeed out and available with the networks here.
We went shopping today and Vodafone, Orange, Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse stores have the N95 in stock, albeit in small numbers at this stage.
Didn't see any at the T-Mobile, Virgin and O2 shops though, but I didn't get round to asking them all.
Will post comparison pics of some of the new phones out etc. later.

So if the N-that-which-may-not-be-mentioned-for-fear-of-driving-Hobbs-over-the-edge is the best thing since sliced AND packaged bread, what's the next big thing going to be? Numerically speaking, what comes next, btw? And when they've exhausted the 90s?

LOL HOBBS, wait 'till Darth Mario gets his hands on The Dark Side's new flagship phone...

I see Greg Chappell quit his job as India's coach today (no big surprise, I guess)...yet another repercussion as a result of this infamous 2007 world cup.

Taken from the Beeb:

'A memorial service is to take place in South Africa for Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer, whose death in Jamaica last month is believed to be murder.
Wednesday's service will be in Cape Town, where Woolmer's family live. The former England batsman's body remains in Jamaica pending a coroner's inquiry.

A team of UK police officers has now arrived in Jamaica to help the inquiry.

The BBC's Peter Biles in Johannesburg says Bob Woolmer's association with Cape Town began more than 25 years ago when he first started coaching in some of the local townships.

He later emigrated to South Africa and his family has been there ever since.

His widow Gill and their two sons will attend the memorial service at the Wynberg Boys High School.

It will be led by an Anglican priest, Reverend Jerome Francis, who was himself coached by Woolmer from the age of 11.

Another memorial service has already been held in Pakistan.'
