Hi guys, I'm having some trouble with MMS. I'm using a P910i and when I want to send a pic that is 100kb or larger than that the phone just refuses to put the picture in. After playing around with the settings, the phone lets me put it in but warns me that the size would be too large, which means that I have to resize it manually. The problem here is that I have a friend who is using a P900, and everytime he wants to send a picture of size 100kb and larger, the phone asks whether to resize it or not, automatically, whereas I can't, I have to do it manually. Does anyone have the same problem?

That could be because max capacity allowed for mms is 100kb?

Of course, that's why I want the phone to automatically resize the picture. Have anyone ever tried sending a picture that has the size of 100kb or more? I just want to know how other phones are reacting when such action is done.

@ Brasco,
I got no problem sending my MMS above 100kb using my P910? However, it is quite slow to completely send out.

@alex
Really? But does the receiver get the message fully? What line are you using?

Hmm... just thought of sharing what I found on DiGi's FAQ on MMS.

Quote:Q24 : What is the maximum MMS file size that I can send from my MMS phone?
A24 : You can send a MMS message with a file size up to 100KB.

@waja800
Yes, that information I've known all along, the problem here is just with the resizing of the picture. Sometimes the pictures that are taken with the phone can exceed 100kb even when using the 'Message Picture' option. With a P900 it can automatically resize it to fit the known limit.
