beatrix: i think fones which are not configured or capable to mms or number that have not been activated will just receive SMS notification about the MMS message and the MMS message can be viewed via web... see below taken from the globe MMS site:
16. What if subscribers have a handset that is not MMS-capable, can they still receive MMS messages?
No, if it is a non-MMS capable handset (or what we call a legacy phone), they will only be alerted via SMS that they have an MMS message. Said MMS message may be viewed via the web.
17. How do subscribers view MMS messages via web?
The SMS notification will contain the address or URL that user needs to access with a system-generated user name and password. All you have to do is access this URL via web. (Quickwin software is required to access the URL. If the PC does not have this software, an option will be flashed on screen for installation)
