I'm quite like 4.5 now. The multimedia side of things is greatly improved Just having a couple of problems with the browser only loading half a page every now and then and the signal drop out when using BBmessenger.

I found by selecting your network to manual the signal will hold more than the sporadic drops its giving.

I have found my signal drop to be less sporadic since upgrading! and even though I still get clocks from time to time all my messages are seeming to go through in BB messenger where as before they were not!

I ended up re-installing 4.2.2 as 4.5 was being problematic (al before I read the workarounds on here!)

Ended up using JavaLoader to wipe my BB and then realised that I'd wiped out the CPW Naviagtor too! LOL

GeekSquad were LESS then helpful: "Who said you could upgrade the software? Why did you do that?". It wis like being back in school. The agent I spoke to ended up admitting that she didn't know what to do in this (although apparently, it's been covered in their training from RIM.) I'm expecting a phonecall back today with info on what can be done.

In the meantime, I had to chat to my mate who can put in a word with a TelMap Sales Manager to get me a replacement licence and the installation file.

I am in two minds about going back, but its more asthetics than anything thats keeping me on 4.5 so I might reinstall this evening and see how we go.

Not much has been added in way of functionality, besides video recording which il never use anyway.

There's a new theme (L), New Fonts, you can now create playlist one the BB rather than having to save them from pc. You can add pics to contacts. The Browser is desktop view as standard, documents to go software.... There's load of new things
