i agree... but expect the Lai to be announced in January last week or so... and then we can safely expect to hear on the eve of GSMWorldCongress in Barcelona... That makes for 3 announcements in Jan-Feb!

If the K850i had been released on schedule then its replacement wouldn't seem to be announced so soon after.

I really hope that se will have a good year and I hope they will alter their strategy a bit and target the higher end market more and bring in a few non ts UIQ phones!

Well, last year CeBIT was disappointing when it came to cellphones... there is hardly any gap between gsmworldcongress and CeBIT and since both happen in Europe, it is very unlikely that any brand will have new stuff to show off...

Just edited my previous post
All we have to find out now is:
• Shio (K-Series/Cybershot) Maybe this one is the K850i-Facelift?
Apart from this we'll see loads of accessories: (Could appear on later announcements)
• An optical zoom kit for nearly all Sony Ericsson devices to enhance the cam capabilities.
• A protective case/box for the phone with extra battery, loudspeakers, and torch combined in one box.
• A mount for the handle bar to transport the phone while riding a bike
• Already told you about some speaker successors of the MDS-70 and MDS-80 with a 6,5" subwoofer. And a bigger shaped MBS-100.

Awesome information m-one! Btw you can add that even Deena would be a mid-end phone, i'm not sure about the indexing. Should have a better idea after Jan 20, when Deena and Lai are expected to be announced.

A list of codenames of phones that wait to be announced (amended version):

Bella (P-Series) currently known as the P5i:

Becky (Z-Series) will be the Z660i:

Madonna (W-Series) could be W980i (W960i-successor)
Another codename could be
Maria.

Deena (W-Series) will be announced after Jan. 20th together with Lai
