Put EV on 0.7 or 1.0 and value 1 for SEM, value 2 for EM

Just read txt with camdriver

well i have to disagree.... because some pictures that "didn't need" that much size came out like 760 770 kb.... after i change that code. all come out 850 and up...and i can see clearly better quality.

Check the brightness of those pictures. Different brightness/contrast level will affect the detail of the pictures as well as size of the pictures.

I tried hfmls' code, since I was curious and thought that compression artifacts were too high. There are a couple of things that I noticed.
First on same quality settings (91%) hfmls files are bigger, I suppose because of the code that reduce quality a bit less that Raider's.
Second when in 3MP the quality increase in terms of artifacts is not perceivable within hfmls' standard and fine settings. This means that when in 3MP mode 91% is close to the maximum achievable with the 900k buffer.
My question is, whatever the code, if I edit a 91% image with say xnview and apply the reduce noise filter, save the image at 91% quality and reopen it, the artifacts are no more there. This means that even at 91% the image could be compressed with a higher overall visual quality, isn't it? Is it possible to intervene on this aspect of the driver?
Another question for Raider, did you have a look on that issue that image stabilization kills shutter speed manual setting?
Btw I renew my congrats for this great driver, it makes the difference!

Hanging around with artifacts. It is a big problem and cannot deal with by only updating the driver. We must remember that the software used for taking pictures on K800i is basically not good. Hope there will be genius who can create a new camera complier by java or elf. Maybe I am wrong again
I guess I can answer for Raiderski. His answer will be like this: Yes I do. I thought about this since I started modding k750/w800 drivers. That why after testing a lots, I chose 91% as the best value for k800i.
