Erm, I succumbed to temptation earlier today!

Was out shopping with me wife and walked into an O2 shop (well, not literally into it but walked inside it!!)

Anywhooo, whilst inside... well, just have a look at the pics below

The case adds hardly any more bulk or weight to the phone. But then that's most probably because it only really prevents the case from getting marked up. If in the event of a fall though I doubt very much it would offer much in the way of protection! But I am pretty darn careful when it comes to handling my goods.

Oh, and there aint no screen protection neither. But I might just buy myself a separate screen protector!

The case does look a slight bit bright in certain lights, but I think it adds a bit of colour and character to the phone

May I please have your honest opinions on what you think of the looks, style etc.

Oh, and just in case anyone is interested in this case, it's called a Skeech case. Available in O2 shops.

Looks and style are similar to the slider, so yeah.. it looks nice. The quality of the cutting around the jack doesnt look so great but thats a minor thing.

Two questions, how much and do they do it in black?

btw man you've got greasy fingers!

True about the cutting round jack. Alas, I only noticed this when I looked at the pics But TBH you can't really notice it unless you look real hard (but now that I know it's there.....) Also, not too keen on the square holding section on the back neither.

Cost - 20 squid. A tad high, and I knew that when I was buying it. But like I said, I got a bit excited by the colour. I like my blue products

Colour options - Only blue available in the shop. But they must surely do a black one too.

And p1$$ off about me havin' greasy fingers Twas my wife who man handled my phone to use Google - straight after she had some greasy curry!!! But again, I noticed the screen on the pics. But rest assured it's had a good scrub since

Dont worry, i did the same with my contour flick that i bought in the O2 shop - knew it was slightly expensive for was it was, and in that price range could've just got something better on the net, but the temptation of having the case there and then was greater.. and needed to protect it asap.

Yeah the clip at the back isn't gonna win any design awards, but it could be worse. At least it does it's job and allows you to dock without removing the whole case. You definitely need to get a screen protector on that - if only just to stop your wifes greasy fingers pawing all over it!

Think i'm just gonna hold out for a new case now, Mrs will prob get me the slider for xmas.. also need a decent screen protector as the one i'm using at the mo is a £4.99 carphonewarehouse jobby that has a slight 'oily' effect under artificial light... probably just due to the naff quality. Wanna get a crystal protector off the apple store really

@NoKia

have you installed that iWBRss app yet? I'm loving it, i prefer how the weather updates work over what the wbapp weather widget does.

I'm finding that SBSettings crashes my iPhone a lot.. it's still well buggy but thats expected i guess as its still only in beta.

It's basically a weather and rss feed for your springboard. Completely configurable by editing the configureme.js. You can also set the length of the intervals between cycles. The weather gives you now, today and tomorrow forecasts...
