Wait for the firmware update.Guess it will do the needful.
Yeah, I just realised that the PS3 is taking commands from the Aino it's just not displaying :-/
I'm really hoping it's not a problem with Three, and something that can be fixed on the phone.
Otherwise I might have to change to Vodafone.

Unfortunately I think the firwmare update won't do anything in your case. The firmware update will add the option to connect via 3G for those who don't have it. (it's disabled in certain region). I think your problem is three who is blocking some ports needed by the remote play protocol

This is the worst thought out phone by any cell phone maker. If they went with a slider with touch screen only for Media, they should at least have designed the phone with some touchpad with call and call end buttons that can be used when slider is closed. The only thing good about the phone is that it will sell so less that you can be assured to have unique phone.
You can use touch to asnwer a call when you recieve a call & end the call with touch & you dont need to open slide

I don't think it is a badly designed phone at all. It is a question of personal tastes.
I think the design, form factor and specs are excellent.
It beats the competition in my view, as I mentioned earlier, the LG Chocolate.
It is simply better specced than the LG phone.
The main problem is marketing. There isn't any, at least in the UK.
And a phone like this needs a lot of marketing.
I'm having trouble getting hold of one on Orange.
Their sales reps don;t have a clue of what I am talking about.

Hmm, not sounding good. Three are officially releasing the phone early next month in Australia, maybe it will "magically" start working then

I need call button so I can browse the call logs without having to open the slider.

Does anyone think that if the price soon comes down this will be a big seller on pay as you go?

This phone has all the makings of a best seller but that doesn't guarantee it success. Take the W760 for example. Few networks took it on even though it was the first Walkman with GPS and stereo speakers (I think). Result, nobody knows what it is. Aino has had a better start in that it's launched alongside Satio and is featured in a lot of the same adverts (but not all) so it's in the public domain but it still needs a spark. Just someone famous to be seen holding one (not in an advert) or a couple of well placed and aimed ads.
I think Vernon Kay was one of the first people to have a K800 and he showed it off in front of a load of people at an awards ceremony and

are still recovering from the retirement of that phone such was it's subsequent success.
I don't particularly mind if the phone is huge or not as I like been one of very few on the street with a particular phone, but as it stands it's looking like W760 over again.

I have not seen an Aino advert on tv just the Satio. Do you think the Aino is not getting the boost it needs?
