Another batt will present another performance, but that wont solve his problem. Ayush has to show more patience in this case. Think we all suffer in the first time of low performance.

Look, it could be a faulty batt, it could bd a faulty fone... Lets say u get a new batt, u have to make the same procedure one more time, right? U dont have much luck with t610 and batt, think its time to go for t630.

I'm back again people. Here's the general update which I promised you guys, gals and all other users. Do note that I'm a light user and I literally can count (and I did take count) the no. of times I charged the phone.
- For the first month+, the batt life lasted an average of 3.5 days
* i used the same charging methodº as marlonxp does
* phone is charged in the OFF mode
* this was done only when the phone went dead (after the warning red flashes)
* left to charge for more than 12 hrs but not beyond 18 hrs
* this method was used for 3 times
* the 4th time, I couldn't do as before as I'd to rush off with my phone
* the 5th and 6th back to the method of the 1st 3 times
* 7th - 10th, the phone was left on (by this time, batts last about 4 days)
* do note that even when the phone "indicated" fully charged, i didn't remove it
* for the 7th - 10th, i was following bob's advice on SE phones
- Weds, Sept 29, 2004 is a major milestone for my T610
* batts lasted from Sept 29 (1216 hrs) - Oct 5th (0441 hrs)
* note that @ 4:41 am, the phone just gave the alert of a dying batt.
* also noteworthy, Airtime - international calls (approx 45 mins)
* 5 days, 16 hrs and 25 mins (2425 mins)
* See chat below, quoted from Esato
Some other interesting observation(s), which has been noted in other posts as well, is the fact that battery level can indicate nothing left, HOWEVER, after using the phone, the battery level WENT UP!
Before the major milestone, I was actually surfing a decent amount of time with the phone (mainly to test it) and having fun with the camera. In addition to that, I was bluetooth-ing around quite a bit as well, not to mention that I play the FiveStones and MiniGolf for an average of 1/2 hr a day in total. I guess this affected the battery life quite a bit!
In conclusion, I would like to say once more, I'm very pleased with my T610 --- in terms of performace and more important the Grand Piano design element!
Here's the part on the one more thing
- initial photos of my T610 when I first bought it.
- the night shots modes are pretty cool, ain't they?
- please pardon the out-of-focus picts, all were taken hurriedly, forgot abt macro

My fav. model

º I've always followed these steps, ever since I learn how to manage laptops. As you should know, battery life is extremely important to moblie users. We love to squeeze every drop of juice out.
