No worries, Jojo.
Ducati's 999 -successor is called the 1098.
Actually, the Ducati 999, 749, Multistrada, 900SS, MH900 (Mike Hailwood replica) and original Supermono were styled by a South African designer, ie. Pierre Terreblanche.
He didn't style the beautiful new 1098 though...

@ama - That's it, that's it Ducati 1098 ! When my high School friend of mine and ME met just some days ago (after an absence of 21 loooong years in between), he showed me a PIC of that 1098 in his notebook (wallpaper), it was nicely designed . . . then he made a canvass of the price to the ONLY authorized ditributor of Ducati at my end (Access Plus), and they told my friend that it will cost him a staggering: US$ 27, 083.00 at my end almost the BULK of the amount goes to the shipping fee . . . you are taking those images in a UK Bike-Show . . . right Thank You - ama !

Yup, they retail for £11250 here (approx R157 500); that's a lotta money, even for such a stunning, high performance Italian thoroughbred like the iconic 1098.
They're also not the easiest or cheapest to service, particularly with those belt-driven cams and desmodromic valve setup (as opposed to more conventional valve springs found in most other 4 stroke machinery.)

Anywayz, I'm going to catch up on some sleep now; it's been an eventful Friday 13th to say the least.
The N73 performed well again today; much more stable with the new firmware; only 1 reboot so far since then.
All the other little 'bugs' seem to be eradicated now...

G'night, gentlemen.

True; looks like their next match, against England, will be very, very pivotal.
Let's hope net run rate doesn't come back to haunt us at the end of the Super 8's matches...

New Zealand and Australia through to the semi-finals.Both teams have played awesome cricket. If only we hadnt lost to Bangladesh.Things would have been a little easier for us.

Hey Falcon. What package you on with MTN? cause that sounds dirt cheap man.

Well done NZ. We got what we deserved, nothing less. Methinks some heads will be tumbling pretty soon...
