I bet it's because it looks outdated when next to the N8.
A 'Vivaz 2' is more than likely to be lower than a 'Satio 2'. I also wonder why this is a Vivaz not a Satio successor. The Satio is need of a revamp in both hardware, software and reputation. There was not much wrong with the Vivaz and so its replacement could still be delayed while more Android phones are released.
Get your priorities right, SE!
by priorities, sales is more important for SE.so a 350 euro 12mp camera surely could sale.thats priority!

Really now? A £500 Satio brings in more cash than a £350 Vivaz when put together properly and with relatively stable software.
Besides, Vivaz is selling very well compared to the current Satio so why derail those sales with another £350 Vivaz with 12mp camera?
Now, that's what I call priority!!!

i'm waiting for satio successor too.
care to show me the figure that stated satio satio bring more cash than vivaz?and hey, you yourself admit vivaz is selling well, satio got a bad name due to earlier firmware disaster. in SE mind, maybe vivaz successor could bring more success to them.how can it derail vivaz sales if it doesnt even announce yet?could you give me the time when the 12mp vivaz start selling?

I was saying a £500 Satio successor put together, stable and marketed well would bring more cash than a £350 Vivaz successor. The point is if the 12mp Vivaz sells 100 000 devices and the Satio successor sells the same the money would be made on the Satio successor.
The Vivaz has a lot of shelf life left in it, it was only just released in late march and reports suggest the 12mp Vivaz is scheduled for release in Q3 which would definitely erode the current Vivaz's sales. That is where my whole point comes from.

So

should release the walkman android as to not hurt Vivaz's sales.

Yes, that is a much better bet at this stage. Rumours suggest a 5mp camera, Android and 16GB internal memory. That is a perfect phone to introduce while finishing up 'Satio 2', it will likely sell and never bother the Vivaz.
I get a feeling SE are changing their minds about the number of phones they intend to release due to the last financial results.
I still say release the walkman phone in Q3, Satio 2 in Q3 or even Q4 and an Xperia windows phone in Q4. Drop an A- platform phone that is touchscreen now in Q3 alongside the walkman and maybe the Satio 2. Add a few mid-end phones to complete this year and you carry out extensive marketing/advertising on your 'big guns' and let the consumers do the rest. Of course pricing is equally important.
Hmmm... maybe I should get serious about working for SE

16 gb internal memory would be awesome

I'm thinking of buying Vivaz this Christmas (

) but if they announce that Walkman and if it has a great camera (like the one in C901) I might wait a bit more for it's release

Add +1 or +2 to each Q (maybe not the Walkman though)

Dups!
This will sell. They just have to put the basics:
3.5mm jack
at least 3.2 capacitive touchscreen
long battery life
And add some more:
FLAC Support
AND
98% bug-free software and quality build.
Im just hoping they have a phone that has xVid/DivX/Avi support.

I can tell you that 98 percent of what you suggest will be in/on that phone.
The X10 can be regarded as pretty stable and so is the HTC Desire on Android 2.1. 3.5mm is a given, build quality is likely to be okay and FLAC support is already included on Spiro or is it the other one of the just announced low end walkman phones  So, it should be in the flagship walkman phone. 3.2 is another one that has been rumoured so that's covered.
The one thing I highly doubt is DIVX support out of the box. The other being the battery standby time, Android seems to be notorious for high battery usage by itself. The OS needs more optimization in the battery area.
