@arch
The fps under screen seems more complicated that we all thought.
Developers are having hard times to make it work well and fast.
I've read once Samsung could not use it on Note8 because this part of screen was showing different brightness from the rest of screen.
I have no idea if Apple will have it this year.
Also there are other points we should consider..
1) If we need screen to be replaced. Will I pay for new FP sensor too?
2) If the FP sensor gets broken. Will I pay for new screen too?
In case they are 100% integrated to each other...

Just dont put too much expectation for XZ1, it might end up not as much change as you expect
I will wait until new CMOS come out, no matter what will it be

Would people be unhappy if the XZP came with a 1080p screen in the size of the XZ? Is it such a bad thing considering how well the XZP performs? Sony isn't going to drop the selfie cam because its the best on the market so its likely that the bezel won't be shrunk that much. Also, as far as the early prototypes go the fingerprint scanner remains on the side so you shouldn't expect a thinner device. I personally think that the side bezels will be smaller but not so much the top and bottom based on drawings. Hardware-wise its a top performer, you will not be disappointed at all.
Now the Compact is more interesting, X Compact was pathetic and so were the sales so it should be much more competitive this year. I feel that the internals will make it *perform* as well as the flagship. I also think that it will be waterproof and share a lot more with the flagship in terms of design, X Compact looked like a cheap Chinese clone of the XZ. Sony staff from some European countries were vocal in their criticism of the X Compact saying it was rubbish because Compacts traditionally do very well in these places. I think this one will be done correctly in the the spirit of the Z3 Compact.

@tony
Actually I would not like to see changes at all.
A 5.2" version of XZP would be great..
Glass back.
Blue, white, black and yellow.
White completely white, others with black front.
Just like Z3+
@badassmam
About thickness, I believe it is because of the loop not fps.
XZ is thicker than Z5.
I guess z5 is 7.3mm only.
