Does anyone have the CAD files that the renders and case specs are based on?

Well...the new Exynos can encode and decode 8K.
Samsung, LG and Sony has 8K tv already, they will try to generate content as soon as possible, that's for sure.

New article on sumaho has screenshot of a spec list someone posted on weibo.
It says the non-premium has : 6+128, 6.5" 21:9 QHD oled HDR and 4400mAh. Colors would be black, silver, blue and purple.
Size: 16,7 x 7,2 x 8,2 ...
It has design of Sony website, but I checked the pages of China and Taiwan and nothing is there.
Must be fake ...

4400 lol
My current bet is under 4000mah most probably 3700-3800mah
Sony never fails to disappoint when it comes to battery size

Most 2018 flagships were under 3500.
The companies will always use the "better cpu" excuse.
If with a 2018 cpu and 3300 it can give you 1 day moderate use , then with 2019 cpu + 3000 can give you 1 day moderate use...
Be sure many will do it.
6.5" 21:9 must not be much different of 6.3" 18:9.
My bet is 3600mAh.

It should be normal if u can't find it. It haven't be released yet.
Products page always uploaded before head.
However, learned from the history, even official page has many mistakes.

Sony has arguably the best battery optmisation
But they should start putting batteries that also compete in terms of sheer size
I remember z2 breaking the 3000mah barrier in 2014 with excellent battery saving features in stamina mode

All tech sites got shocked by endurance of Z3 + android 4.4.
Ppl today spend more time on phone compared to 2014.
That is why I like tablets. Dont need to use phone for everything at home.
They can easily give you 8h or more SoT.
My iPad arrived friday. Battery was 84% out of box, I have used it a lot so far and still have 13%.

If Mate 20 Pro has 4200 mah battery, then new Sony phone (which will be 160mm long lol, so obviously a lot of room for a big battery) should at least have as much as that. Plus they have experience with batteries because they used to manufacture them for a long time in house.
I agree that Sony's optimizations are good, and battery life is beyond average, but boosting capacity would make them kings of battery life... They could at least be leaders in battery capacity and battery life, but of course they are not, why would they be?!
