JasonDeFaoite>- This morning I went down to SESC and make some noice by saying that they gave me the wrong info in regards of the the LCD screen. By George, under the LCD screen there really have two flourescence bulbs located at the left and right side of the screen.
The SESC Tech Mgr personally open up a T68i handset and let me see it. He even used an electrical equipment and test it in front of me. When he lighted up one of the bulb the other bulb was not on, one part of the screen showed some black patch. This is exactly what MFB had described to me on his handset problems. So he explained to me that LCD screen had two metods to light up the screen. One is using CLP (Which is called luminous plate method, I think this method is the one that you told me.) And the other one is using bulbs. The T18 and T28 is using this method. The disadvantage is, it will draw a lot of current from the battery. Unlikewise the T68 and T68i now is using flourescence blubs, not only it is brighter and it also save battery life. However without your comments, I won't be able to have a chance and see how it works. Still I have to thank you for it.

Hi Tony

Thanks for the info, but I believe those bulbs are for the backlighting only.

orang3>- Yes yes, My god, You are good also. It just happen that I have slip off my mind what the Tech Mgr had told me on the name. And now I remember it is indeed called the multimeter. Thks orang3. Wow! now I realised that in our forum there are a lot of "Hidden Dragon Crouching Tiger" members. I really have to admit that I am not so knowledgeable comparing to a lot of you all. My sincere compliments
to all of you.
