Can anyone tell me when the M600I will be available on Orange UK? I am getting pretty temted by this one, I am also thinking about the K800I but I already have a Canon Ixus digital camera that will always be better then a phone and I'm not really into blogging. But I like the gadgety appeal of the M600I and it's small for what it is yet it seems to be taking for ever to come onto Orange.

I have a problem and I don't know if it's a bug as I'm running the last version. I simply cannot set the usb connection to "File transfer", as it's always in "phone mode" and I cannot change that. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

@magnificus

disconnect your M600 from the PC (ie the USB wire) then you'll be able to change mode

I wouldn't rely on Orange. My experience is that if they do offer a phone that I want it is always so far behind the other operators that something better has already come along.

I couldn't wait for them, and ordered a sim free M600i from Expansys, which should arrive today.

Is there an extended life or higher density battery for the phone available?

I believe so. My M600 came with a 900 mAh battery, and my K800 came with a 950 mAh battery, yet they both have the same model number and physical size.

well I don't thing the differenence between 900 and 950 mhA will be very noticable

By the way..with 'normal' use, my m600 has a battery life of about 4 days, which is not too bad for a smartphone I reckon....

Eh? It is out. Check pricerunner or your local stores.
