Nope, not at all The spypic shows an old housing of a walkmanphone that hasn't been announced so far. Who knows if it exists now?

The second pic is an attempt showing us the K850i-Facelift, but that's not real in any case.

hmm... so m-one, do you have any information on the K850i facelift? SE should have learned something from the mistakes of K850i and changed stuff?

AFAIK only changes in design. Probably a little enhancement on the cam considering an optical zoom.
As I've been told the design will be much better and with a less extraordinary D-pad solution.

I just noticed that below the keypad there, there's a cyber-shot name.

Hey -
I'm new to this forum, so I apologize if the link below is ground already covered...

I have a w810i and have recently been thinking about upgrading, so I came to Esato to get opinions and reviews on the new SE phones. I particularly like the w910i, but am anxious to see what SE announce in a couple of days.

Here are a couple of links to pages with pictures and info on several "new" models that I stumbled across during my search for info on the latest, greatest SE phones. I don't know if they're purely speculation or actually have some merit. Again, sorry if you've already seen these. I really hope this is what the w980i will look like! P5i looks sharp too! K860i could be an upgrade for the k850i??

@newJ

thnx for the pictures but it seems it's quite impossible to look something like that, but not 100% impossible The last and only hint I received was that Japanese phones will have great impact on SE's coming design. So basically W980i should have some relatives already in the Japanese market. The problem is which of them is it.

IMO something still doesn't seem right for SE. Other than last year, most high-end phones comes right in the beginning before 3GSM Congress just to make it to the conference, then Cebit will be the mid-range phones. Somehow last year was way off. Most models were introduced after the conference, and there was almost nothing new in conferences.

Speaking of design wise, I think SE wants to stick to something simple, but yet elegant and functional. We're missing many segments from last year that covers this. Usually they never missed this segment. I hope they have something good for us this year. Well SE will be at CES, let's see if anything new is coming up.

The latest releases from NTTDocomo have all been clamshells with 3 inch WVGA/WQVGA screens. I don't think such phones would have much of an impact outside of Japan as Europeans are more size-conscious.

Some people think the K850i is big but compared to some Japanese phones its actually quite dainty.

Phones with a flip would seem to be the ideal solution.
