Obviously just whack it with the rest of your themes and apply in winterboard.
Not sure how relevant this is to some people, and i dont really know the different between these turbo sims or the ones you have to cut out, but this warning was posting on the iPhone Dev blog concerning upgrading to 2.2
Source
The use of SIM-Proxies (small circuit boards/chips that sit underneath the SIM card) to provide GSM/UMTS service on your locked iPhone 3G is a method that we have always advised against. Early reports suggest that the 2.2 update disables the functionality of these devices. The techniques used were always unreliable and we are surprised that they have lasted this long.

I'll just back-up what Ryan has just said regarding turbo sims and upgrading to 2.1 firmware! Please be careful.
I've just read a few posts elsewhere which have stated that there turbo-sim'd phones are no longer getting any reception after upgrading to 2.2
But, if memory serves me right, there is a particular way you have to upgrade with a turbo sim. Alas no one has yet mentioned how this is done!!

I was wondering what would happen if you upgraded while the turbo sim was in there, whether that might prevent the disable occuring...

Yeah the best thing to do is just wait, at least until other people have upgraded and have got their turbo sims working fine. I'm personally not sure how you go about upgrading when using a turbo sim but i also just read a post elsewhere about using the SIM it came with whilst upgrading..at least that was for fw 2.1...
I'm in no hurry for this fw anyway, wont be updating til quickpwn is updated
Slightly off topic but apparently there's no updated street view on google maps with 1st gen iPod touch

Yeah there's nothing really major for me in there either... i rarely listen to podcasts, or use google maps... but this addition is pretty cute!
Japanese emoji icons (Japanese emoticons) are now supported. The exact number of emoticons is believed to be 461. These can be included in email. Not confirmed about use of these in notes, etc.
