So do you think Nokia can come out with a phone with a camera better than 808 and 1020? It is just i am starting to think i should have kept the 1020 but i am secretly hoping something better (with xenon flash) will come along
I think we all know that it will eventually happen ... but I would agree that you got rid of your 1020 too quickly as it will probably take some time for that to occur and it will likely not even be Nokia. If I had my guess it would be Sony to finally put something out which would surpass both devices (808 & 1020) as they are the current benchmark.
@Tsepz_GP
you're just an angry troll which either refuses (or lacks the mental capacity) to understand anything discussed here today so again I have already posted my last words on the matter. It's all there - go back and read.
Not at all angry mate, I'm amused and shocked at how desperate you got. I've always enjoyed reading your posts about the 808PV and your pics, you've done some great work in fact, I always pop in here and have a good read now and then, reminds me of the all days of Nokia WOMWorld a bit, but once a good argument was brought on to you and you had to defend your 808, well, one just has to read the last few pages.
If you don't like what I've said don't insult my intelligence, just say so, but you know I've spoken the truth as all of you've done here is try sway the argument to suit you, proving my original point of how a Symbian user and a BB user will desperately cling on to one straw and simply can't argue on any other grounds
And yes, Symbian is dead, although your comment was sarcastic it is true, funny that!
Cheers!

I don't think you have a good argument.. its just your opinion which has no base for good/productive discussion. If you think that Symbian is "dead" then your opinion on the 808 is always going to carry a negative connotation/association.
Its a solid smartphone, nothing more to it. It works great for some people, and not so much for others.
mlife is trying to show you that the phone works just fine as a modern smartphone for him, and you are trying to convince him that it doesn't based on your preferences. There is a reason why you don't won one, yes ?

there is a tasker similar app for the 808, is called "Situations".
Awesome app that triggers events based on location or time/date.

As the guys keep saying, the 808 is perfectly capable of doing everything a modern smartphone requires to do. If there isn't a branded app (anything from google, for example) then there is an equivalent is most occasions.
I love my 808, i think is a piece of collection and will still use it for most of my needs.

^ I use situations daily... great app, and I am pretty sure that kind of functionality is only available on Symbian for now.

What I am not understanding is why would someone who;
-Doesn't have an 808
-Doesn't want an 808
-Thinks everything is better than an 808
-Thinks candycrush is what "makes" a smartphone
-Dismisses symbian at every opportunity
-Dismisses every functionality of the 808
-Dismisses everyone else's opinion
-Is an obvious Android fanboy and
-Is happy with the S4's inferior image quality
even come to this thread? ... that's what I thought... move along troll.

Probably because they are smartphone enthusiasts, and as for the bold part
oh dear, desperation and anger does make you say the strangest things mate.
