Trolls like ebato shouldn't get more attention than a random speck of dust in the wind.

Now about the bending issue, bending my ZU was a daily thing for me just for the sake of scaring people with it, it would get to it's previous shape and it's the same with the Z4t. Kinda like the failed scandal of the i6+'s bendgate.

It is of no issue, i'd rather be worried of thermal throttling if anything.

I am preodering the Z4 tablet right now. Hope Z4 Ultra hits the shelves around late May so I can tape the two together and bring them home.

@xperiazultra
I'm sure we will see z ultra announcement this year, be it around may for mid year release with z4 or at ifa. no doubt. even lg is going to revive their g pro line to fight the phablet segment in q4: "LG to devise new flagship smartphone positioned above the LG G4 - could the G Pro series make a return?": http://www.phonearena.com/new[....]o-series-make-a-return_id66816

I'm wondering what the real reason is for the no Z4 show at MWC. Heating issues?

Might they have to redesign the Z4 in order to dissipate the heat from the chip more efficient, or is it just a matter of them coming out of the six-month launch cycle.

@goldenface

I feel that both reasons might be viable...

Qualcomm will eventually release a better binning later that can run at higher clock, or same clock with lower heat.. so they might be waiting for this and also re-scheduling their flagship from Z4 so it will have 9 months from Z3

Just to note, having a 9 months cycle and Z4 in May/June release means that Z5 should be in Feb/March next year... so it should have Snapdragon 820 by then... sadly When Z5 launches I think there will be at least 1-3 devices already using 820 if there was no delays to it's release. ( Sampled in 2H15 )

rather have them ditching the S820 and go with Tegra X1 if Qualcomm can't keep it cool. But I heard Nexus 9 is also a heat pad with Tegra K1 so not sure what else they can do.

Sounds like MediaTek it is. it's being doing pretty well these days and does a better job than AMD against Intel to keeps Qualcomm scared and busy

their performance are decent but doesnt look like they are quite competitive with the other in high end department, and I heard getting customs roms isn't easy with mediatek. That may turn a lot of people off.

Another info regarding z4 and z5 (elaborating on miku' and xperiablog sources info and translated from hebrew to english by myself just for you guys):
sony will launch improved version of z3, most likely called z3 plus, launched in the coming months (maybe called z4 in some countries - perhaps its QHD display variants?) but will not be a big leap from z3 in comparison to what z5 will offer. sony will launch z3plus/z4 because it was in final developing stages before they decided to change their strategy to one flag per year and also because the world mobile carriers asked them for an updated flag (perhaps especially from their home land once like docomo?) that can offer dl speeds of 350-400 mb in 4g.
from sony's side, their biggest and most interesting device is z5 that will arrive in q4, launched in october (most likely announced at ifa), offer big leap in innovation and technological advances (spec) and possibly come in different sizes and versions. z5 may be named under other name and possibly even with other letter then z. sony hopes that the big flag that will be launched in october will bring a change to the company status and will return the users enthusiasm and desire that they had for many years. it is not curtain if the big flag will have entirely new design or another ob evolution but the sources confirmed that it will be water proofed (at least retain the ip68).

btw, this mobile site is well known in israel and their journalists cover mwc (and probably talked to some sony execs behind closed doors i assume). this is info makes total sense and as i wrote elaborating on miku' and xperiablog sources info - no contradicting bullshit here.

the cpu cores are good and competitive, but the graphic department is lacking.
