currently - you cannot do HDR or high/lo speed burst mode in RAW.
AF-C is still available and has nothing to do with writing to memory. So, it would not be effected by saving to RAW format.
I think we can understand why burst mode is not available for RAW. It will use up all the storage.
Yes. I was not giving reasons why RAW isn't available in burst. I'm correcting Hawk's statement about RAW format in photo pro.
In any case, as noted by xpr, burst up to 8fps will be permitted in raw format. so far it hasn't been enabled yet.

Another interesting observation is that the raw file gets a fixed 24.41mb & 24.42mb size if you select raw + jpeg no matter which item you shoot at..

Have you read the later statement by Sony.
They think they can profit next year, also focus more on midranges.
I think they will keep just 1 flagship per year this way.
They should make 1 smaller, like 6.3" then ....
Hope 10 iii is 690/5G.

great pics XPR. Super sharp night photos. Assume you used a tripod with long exposure?
For some, but not for all. It's quite surprising what you can achieve with this Xperia handheld.

by far my biggest complaint is the FPS. It is always active and there doesn't seem to be a way to disable it UNTIL the screen turns on. I find myself turning on and unlocking my phone, just by putting my phone in my pocket because a registered finger brushes by the FPS.
I think I know what you mean, but I actually don't suffer from this issue. Perhaps it has to do with individual habits.

Other than that, the phone's been a dream. THere are some glitchy software issues with certain apps but I think that has to do with the aspect ratio than anything. For example, in some instances, going from portrait mode to landscape mode and back, the screen doesn't readjust properly and things are displayed "off screen" if that makes sense.
I haven't been able to reproduce it consistently, but if i can figure that out, i'll report back. Hopefully, it'll be fixed in an update but even if not, it's not a big deal.
I've encountered this one. The funny thing is that I don't recall this in the Xperia 1. Anyhow, it's not that much of an issue as you can quickly switch to portrait/landscape and then back. Other than that, I too think it may be resolved in some future update.
All in all, Sony have done a really good job with this one.
