Hi,
I'm new to these forums and only got my K750i about 3 weeks ago. I know there's been problems with Float and the K750i with the program crashing not long after connecting with the phone. I managed to get it to work a little better by disabling Norton Anti Virus. I know... sounds simple but it worked for me.

I couldn't connect to PC by using the FMA software but I can use the bluetooth transfer files and sync via bt billionton driver. I'd tried each and every serial port in case I misout but yet still no response. The FMA always pop out to be 'no connection' could some one pls help me. I am cracking my head now..thnx a lot..

Not actually a BT solution as using supplied DCU-60 cable but...
fma-2.1-beta-3-setup.exe Crashed - maybe WSH version conflict on my PC
fma-2.0-stable-setup.exe OK so this is what's being used...
PC:
Windows ME
Very Slow
No Anti Virus
USB vX.X (I don't think it's 2.0)
K750i attached and resources used:
750 USB Memory Stick available to Explorer.
750 USB WMC Data Modem connected to internet on COM1.
Resources NOT used:
750 Modem on COM3
750 WMC OBEX Interface COM5
750 WMC Device Management COM6
Installation:
I unticked any "Download and Install from Web" options - I'm on a sloooow conection
User information:
unknown user
none
Destination location:
C:\Program Files\Fma
Setup type:
Custom installation
Selected components:
Precompiled Binaries
Update Tools
Sounds
All-in-one Scripts
Scripting Framework
Delphi 6 Source Code
Start Menu folder:
floAt's Mobile Agent
Additional tasks:
Create a Desktop FMA icon
Create a Quick Launch FMA icon
Create Default FMA Sound Scheme
Untick Launch FMA and Finish...
Now Launch (I like to click the button) and wait...
When things settle, sort out your options.
Tools and Options:
General: leave as you haven't tried to connect to the phone yet...
Startup: Untick ALL boxes in the "When Connecting" group (this might stop Freezes, tick'um later)...
Advanced: Untick "Enable Monitor" in the Battery and Phone State Monitoring group (for reason above)...
All other tabs are too complex for me - but if you're using PIMs then check them out
but leave at default untill you sort out connection issues
OK! Close the option dialog box...
Now find out where your 750
WMC Device Management is!!!! (or your 750/800)
System Properties:
In Windows press and hold the "Windows" key...
Now press "Pause Break"...
Find the Tab/button for "Device Management"
Expand "Ports (COM & LPT)
Make a note of the COM port for:
Sony Ericsson 750
USB Device Management (COM6)
COM 6 in this case.
Back to Tools > Options > General in floAt's MA and select Serial Port:
Enter:
Port: COM6 (use your COMx setting)
Baudrate: 115200 (you can choose slower, 38400 or 56000 if still having problems)
RTS: Enabled
DTR: Enabled
close options and try to connect.
Don't foget that the phone has to be connected and all drivers installed...
fma also connect via Bluetooth but have't bother yet - see OBEX! maybe...

Recently, I tried to install it the 'float's mobile agent version 2.1 Beta 2' on another pc but when I try to access the application I get the following error (the application does not even start):
"Exception EOleSysError in module MobileAgent.exe at 00347AD.
Error accessing the OLE registry"
I went through all posting but did not find any post to match with my problem. Could you please tell me what could possibly be the problem?

Hi, trying to get this to work with my K600i but no luck. Trying the beta (2.1.1.102 Beta 3) and what happens is it hangs when searching ports. Im connected via USB cable. Tried the 2.0 version but it detects the phone as a 56000 or something and nothing works.
Is it supposed to work with K600i?

If I make a call through FMA the Hang Up button doesn't work. I just get the hourglass over the FMA screen.
If I click the x in the top right of the 'connecting' panel and click OK to confirm it still doesn't close.
Also, if the contact being called rejects the call, it doesn't hang up on FMA.
My computer then carries on playing the ringing tone and the only way I've found to get rid of this is to disconnect.
However, if the call just isn't answered, FMA will disconnect.
Any advice?
