Ed, I've been using Direct Connect for the past three months and it has its good and bad points (don't most programs).

Obviously, if it's better to have a fast connection, since it will be easier to get stuff. Very 56k unfriendly - people come and go so you may not have a chance to get the whole file you wanted.
It's often very tricky to get connected to someone since there is a queue of people hammering them constantly. There are also limits depending on the hub you visit, i.e. 100Gb minimum and 3 open slots!

Other than that it's great! Give it a go and let us know!

God you guys are quick in your posts arent you...

ITs good when you have a moment in the office and check the forum.

Basically go and get a GC for just over £100 you can play the best games ever invented - Im not really that bias but Ive had a PS2 since it came out in Jap - got a good deal and Ive played it no more than twice... in fact Ill prob keep it for a door stop - its heavy enough. I mean you guys remember when the snes came out at £299 and everyone thought that was cheap - not being funny but how does inflation come into play when you can get a GC for about £100.... strikes me as a bargain.

Yes you cant beat PC's but not everyone can afford the latest geoForce card at nearly £300 a blow... for that momney get a GC and monkey ball with 4 joypads... Im still wating on a game that beats 4 player bomberman on the snes.....

sad arent I going on about games.... tbh I dont get much time to play em anymore... much rather be down the pub... or somewhere else

Mornin' all!

Just wondering: When CPW flash your phone, do you lose the info on it? I.e. Any downloaded pictures or contacts?

I take it the majority are at work today!
