tbh its a simply proccess to remove the dust under the plastic cover

but to stop from extra dust getting on underneath the PLASTIC screen not the LCD i had to polish it with displex then replace it ASAP while it was of becasue the plastic cover has a static charge dust EASILY get attracted to it!!

btw if u do do this do it in a open area with clean air, i did it in my kitchen

GameIndustry.biz is reporting that Sony will show off its new console, the PS3, a couple hours before Microsoft releases the Xbox 2/360. This puzzles me a little as I didn't think the PS3 was launching this year. I've heard the new Xbox will be powered by the R520 from ATI and nVidia will power the competition. Anyone know if this will possibly be the NV50?

Quote:
Sony will hold its event on a sound stage in Sony Pictures' complex in Culver City, just outside Los Angeles, at 15.00 PST on Monday, May 16th, and is expected to show off the next-generation PlayStation for the first time at this event.

Three hours later at 18.00 PST, Microsoft will kick off its own event in downtown Los Angeles, where it is expected to finally take the wraps off the next-generation Xbox, currently known only by its development codename Xenon.

The scheduling is threatening a headache for media and industry types who need to attend both events, since if the Sony event runs on for a while it could be quite tough to get from Culver City back into downtown LA in time for the 6pm kick-off with Microsoft.

if this is true i am starting to think maybe that boy was telling the truth

I've just bought a Japanese version... partly because currently they're cheaper and easier to get hold of than the America one, and also because Japan and the UK are in the same region for UMD movies (if I ever decide to buy any).

I got mine from ElectricBirdLand.co.uk. But currently they've suspended order taking until tomorrow (11th) to clear the backlog of orders. They also throw in a combined USB data/charging cable, a UK power lead and a CD-ROM of goodies.

BTW, the PSP will work fine with your shiny new PowerBook. I'm currently trying out iPSP and PSPWare.

Also, if no-one has noticed yet, CD-WOW are selling PSP games for £29.99 inc delivery.
