Kinda found a solution to my iTunes issue.
Remember I said it only takes the videos from removable storage?
Well, I put my iPod into disk mode, then copy the video to it, then add the video to my library by pulling it off the iPod...
It works 100% but now it's going to take twice the amount of space up on there, a temporary fix for now.
Thanks anyway, Cyco!!

Bonjour Cycovision,
Some help if you may.
Ok, my pc runs fine, is virus free and has hardly anything installed on it , however, if i turn it on, use the internet and then turn it off it is fine BUT if i turn it on, use anything other than the internet and try and turn it off, when i select the "Turn Off" Option an egg timer comes up and stays there for 10minuts plus so i generally end up pressing and holding the power button to turn it off.
Any suggestions?

Could be a number of things but first, I'd check if there's something running in the background that hangs when these other applications are run. Does it do it in safe mode?
Anyway,
process explorer might come in handy.
Keep it open whilst you open apps and try to shut the computer down. You might see a process that hangs or takes up lots of processor cycles which you can then use to trace the offending background app. Unfortunately, process explorer might shut down first but it's worth a try!

@Cyco, I downloaded the latest version of Windows Live Messenger and whenever I use it, my ZoneAlarm firewall pops up saying that "Windows Live Messenger is attempting to monitor user activities on my computer". I'm certain it is from Microsoft, but the thing is, should I be allowing it to do that? ZoneAlarm does give me an option to deny or allow the above. Thanks!

Yes, it's perfectly safe to let messenger do it's thing
It periodically accesses the registry for various reasons and ZoneAlarm is very paranoid...

Indeed, ZA is quite zealous in it's application, i switched to using Avast on my desktop and laptop ages ago, and i put AVG on my UMPC the other day which works a treat i'm glad to say

Hey Cyco...
Finally got round to taking my PC to the Tech Guys and they said they canny do it because they can't copy my data to their equipment so I have to provide a HDD for them which would be costly.
D'ya reckon if I took it to a small independant shop they would do it?

Worth a try!
I can get data from most healthy drives using very basic equipment, it's only ever a problem if the data is encrypted or protected in some way or if the customer has drives in certain RAID arrays.
Sounds like the tech guys want to use norton ghost or such like to clone your entire drive rather than fish the stuff off for you manually which is more labor intensive and therefore less profitable

The guy said it was more to do with privacy and shizz..
I have Norton Ghost 9.0 &10.0 and now feel like a total dick for not installing it earlier! I'm gonna give it a go but it prolly won't install.

Oh great!
Yeah, the indies will back it up for you. Just accept the fact that if you have anything decent on there, it will be copied
