whether there will be a release at the same time for /8 version (chinese enabled), I do not think anyone here has the answer. you would have to just wait and see.
there are 2 versions on sale in Singapore, /2 - Generic World 2 and /8 Chinese enabled.

When I got mine (with chinese enabled version) I managed to upgrade firmware using SEUS to R7. Have you try updating from uk site instead. It might go thru.

siandy is refering to organizer version not phone version
/8 lags behind /2. although phone version is upgrade to R7, organizer version stayed at R2A05

As you understand the @ way of posting can you please try and avoid quoting in every post in fact can everyone please try and stop this habit. Many visit via Mobile Devices and it is very annoying both in waiting for it to load and having to scroll through it all. What i mean is organizer version it's still R2. and i just realize that there is too ver of singapore ver? how to check it? is that really upgarading from uk sites would be usefull? my phnoe fw has already R7....

look at the CDA details. yours should be "CDA 162007/8". the /8 is the chinese enabled version.
you can update your firmware via SEUS, however, what you have is already the most current for /8

Apologies if i did its just getting really annoying on the forum at the moment everyone is always quoteing sometimes 2 or 3 quotes and they are right above. I have given the reasons why it is more considerate to fellow users and agree with Johnex it should stop.Just trying to do my bit and bring it to peoples attention.
