The battery seems definitely to have improved. During the night, in 6h the battery has only dropped 2%, which is around 0.33% per hour. With 1.6 my battery was dropping around 0.5% per hour on idle during the night. Hope it keeps (or improves) this battery performance.

got my update notificatioon yesterday. I ran the update this morning.
2.1 makes the Mini Pro feel like a different device. I am loving this.
I ran Quadrant's benchmark and the Mini Pro actually outguns both the HTC Desire and Nexus One (v2.1). those are devices spotting 1GHz processors and over 500MB of RAM.
Impressive.

Is anyone running 2.1 still running Barnacle? Is this still the better tethering option available? Does it now stay active even when the screen goes off?
I too would be interested if anyone has run barnacle on 2.1, btw jplacson barnacle stays active for me now even when the screen goes off after one of the 1.6 updates. Give it a try unplugged!

What about the battery charge indicator on the 2.1 lock screen, does it display only when charging or all the time while the phone is locked?

Thank you, is there a way to get something like that on lock screen all the time? I did some search, but did not find anything suitable.
