IMO Xperia camera is just a crap and I think it's funny to promote it as a "best camera in smartphone" since xperia z5
A camera which cannot reduce the noise well and doesn't have a full manual is the best ?
Don't make me laugh SONY !

Oh please do not start with me this kind of crap. My Z2 is generally preferred by my friends compared to Note 5 especially in day light due to its more realistic colours, good lighting(more true to life skin tone), larger FOV. It is true that Note 5 is sharper but take note that the former is older than 16 months to the Z2 and now the x performance has the highest detail preservation in daylight.
Moreover, I must admit Sony ONCE AGAIN, sony has crap algorithm at low light but put it at the right ISO settings and it becomes close to Note 5 at low light. If you think that sharpness is what matters most on a picture that you badly need to pixel-peep all the parts of your picture then yeah probably, you should hail Samsung as the best but that doesn't mean it is the best for others.

X performance can't do this while Huawei P9 can do a very good job and it's even a lot cheaper than X performance.
Shameful eh ?

Are you admin of this site ? If not then you don't have a right to told me to do that. Also I guess it's not me who start comparing a camera or something else between SONY and other brand.
Anyway I will stop it for now and let see what SONY will do for their customer.
Hope it's not the same crap.

@Shino03
No, i'm talking about overall quality in day light and low light. As far as note 5 vs x per concerned, Note 5 overall wins in comparison even after you adjust iso, go manual, change to 8mp in xperia and especially in low light result. Sony mobile is behind competition no matter what you do or change, especially for the price sony mobile is asking and not only in camera. It is what it is. I did and do and read and watch many comparisons between all generation of phones. That is no brainer as far as actual end result go.

I don't mind that Xperia cameras aren't perfect.
I don't mind that their release strategy means they are always a couple of months behind to market with the latest CPU.
I don't mind that the get bashed in certain review sites.
I don't mind that they're perceptively slightly more expensive for what you get.
I don't mind omnibalance design.
I do mind that my friends and family (for whom I act as mobile advisor) come to me often to say "that waterproof Xperia leaks water!"
I do mind that they come to me to say "the photos on this aren't as good as Dave's Samsung"
I do mind that they come to me after a month and say "it's so hot I can't use it"
Sounds like I have a problem with my friends and family but Sony's attention to detail and growing inconsistency on things like waterproofing, overheating, need of use of non-default settings for good camera results, among many other things gives cause for concern.
I try but I'm not impervious to influence of others. My confidence in Sony is waning. This is a serious thing as I consider myself as one of the old hardcore and without us the mobile dept is actually in trouble.
To Sony, I stand by you but the Xiaomi turned my head this year. I stopped short of the 'go to basket' button. Next year it may be the 'checkout now' button. Then what? Good afternoon good evening and goodnight.

I feel you Ricky and I would also consider myself as a hardcore Sony (Ericsson) fan.
I don't mind paying a hefty price for a Sony product, but I have to feel I am buying something more than just a product.
Unlike Apple, the image of Sony isn't that great right now for the very same reasons Ricky mentioned.
