Not if they aren't really in competition with the iPhone. And by the sounds of things, none of these new releases will be.

Apple is a company who'se assets are only skin deep IMO. I think the same of most of their products. Sure the iphone has a pretty interface, but it does less, has limited apps going for it, breaks very easily, and, considering the screens diagonal, it could be VGA. I hear battery life isnt too impressive either. An SE phone, however, is like a rock. Its built to last, the battery will last for sure, it has good quality across the board. Besides, SE HAS outdone the first iphone, with the X1, which outdoes it in almost every way (the almost goes for not having a completely unique interface). I dont think Iphone 2 will be able to best X1 either. Should find out later today no?

That's hardly going to happen.
PS. Doesn't A200 have enough animations?
no,IPHONE is the perfect example of use of animations
please,remove the wifi,remove the HSDPA,remove the camera but put the jack!
however 18 june there are the presentation in Milan…:D

I think it's to underestimate Apple and the power of their marketing. Everyone talks about Apple and iPhone right now. Almost noone knows that SE is launching 5-6 phones in a week.
Most people, (which is not us geeks), wants the iPhone for it looks and beautiful GUI.
X1 is coming too late to compare. HTC will probably be out with Diamond Pro at the same time.
I really like SEs phones but I think they've lost all their momentum and innovation right now. Prove me wrong...please.

Well we are yet to see SE's flagships for this year. I think X1 is a brilliant business user/techy flagship. But the usual ones (walkman, cybershot) are yet to be seen at their full strength. I suppose W980i is the new Walkman flagship, but I just hate flip phones
. Apples GUI is good, but Apple isnt going to get right everything that the other manufacturers have spent years tweaking and perfecting in such a short period of time. Case and point: in the iphone, UI is good. Granted. But the camera is total crap. They dont know how to get that right yet, people are dissappointed with that aspect of the device. Im sure 3G Iphone is going to suffer from the same sorts of problems. Yes the skin deep UI is there, but the underlying quality which comes only from years of industrial experience just isnt.
