Thank you GoldenFace, for sorting that out - now back to a proper discussion - where we can discuss the handset, and not expectations of a company - GoldenFace can re-direct you if you want to discuss future SEMC(J) products.

@Sony α

Thanks for the plug.
Rumour has it, btw, that the C905 might be hitting the shelves sooner than we think - now thats something to look forward to (as I scratch around for anything possible to offload onto eBay).

@GoldenFace
lol - it's true though - why rant about what the 905 'lacks' before it's even released - this thread should be for discussing the handset, optics, Sensor, OS, build quality etc - not 'Oh it is no match for the N95' - which as you clearly pointed out - it's not trying to be!
Nice one GoldenFace!

Its not SE's answer to the N95! The N95 is a smart phone. This is a feature phone. Big difference.
So being a "feature" phone makes it special or something? I mean if a phone is, as you say, "feature" it's ok to have just one "feature" and pay a premium for it? The only "feature" it has is only it's 8MP camera by the time it's release I'm sure plenty of other phones will have that same "feature". So this will leave your "feature" phone not so "feature" anymore.
Samsung INNOV8 has that healthy 8MP camera + S60 + DIVX etc. What does that make it according to your reasoning? A feature/smartphone/digicam/and the list goes on phone?
You're right on 1 account though, the C905 is not the answer to the N95, Samsung's INNOV8 is. SE isn't even close to having an answer for the N95.
The C905 is just a K850 with an extra 3.1mp, WIFI and GPS. Hardly anything special or "feature" about it.
PS: I know what a feature phone is. Just having some fun with the word "feature".
Don't be thick. Feature phone is the name used for a java phone. Nokia makes them too in case you hadn't noticed. Go compare this to any Nokia feature phone and come back here and tell us what has the better features.
The C905 is not trying to compete with the N95 or the 8MP Samsung so don't compare them.

Yeah, sure. But Nokia N95 is just an Nokia 1100 with big colour screen, s60, 5mp cam, music player, accellerometer, gps, Wifi and so on

It's been confirmed numerous times now that the phone will indeed be using a sensor made by Sony (a superior one, too).
