Seem like your being sarcastic but who's to really know? I'm curious why SE decided to move the volume slider near the buttom of the device ??

Didn't get to pick this up today so I need to wait another week or 2.

No space. And its a bit annoying. If they moved it up then the 3 buttons sure otherwise ugh giant hands make me wanna snap it.

sorry!
I meant I love the keypad, honestly, the numbers/letters...The volume button, on the other hand, is the most umcomfortable thing ever! And, yes, I agree the side buttons are not too `practical in my opinion.Sorry if I sounded "ironic"

not a thing Ros-mari. Thanks for clarifying that up.

Still have questions though:
1. ITC-60 is it compatible for sound+video for the W995?
2. What is the DB# of this phone?
3. Is this capable of recording video @ VGA resolution with 30fps?!
Please someone got first hand answers on this? Sorry if this was answered before - on SE's developer site this is not mentioned.

I missed out on a FANTASTIC deal today on the W995 for $320CAN . I simply waited a few days and it was sold before I got a hold the local seller. At this point I don't care if I don't get compatible 3G EDGE for NetFront browser /OperaMini was always decent on W810i so I see no hiccups with it.

WOW ... Telstra has got Widgets (using HTML & Flash) working on the W705a ...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Z0umKgosqw

Can these widgets work on W995? Anyone in Australia with W705 that can export these? Max Wedge you around?!
Looks VERY nice and FAST > just as good as those that work on my N85.
Looks like I'll be coming back to and happily ... but I need a more powerful calendar (E72 will resolve that).

@prom1
if you flashed a w705 with the telstra firmware you would get this little app afaik... perhaps you can actually download TelstraOne and put it on other phones?

I wouldn't mix firmwares between different model phones. But I get what you're after.
I'm just hoping it can be pulled from the firmware and offered elsewhere. Its the ability to customize and add sites of your choosing to work in Widget form that I'm after the most. MAN it looks WICKED fast!!!

From USEB's W995 announcement back in February:

Other features include chat view messaging, a very nice Facebook application and a Flickr application.

No sign of any of that in the phone...

They changed that. The first prototypes even had the Remote Play feature from the newly announced Aino, but that was also removed.

Mizzle,

Is there any way this can be brought or imported (from extraction of W705a) to the W995?!! This is the phone to bring back and old & very critical SE fan back to the fold. I'll still get the Nokia E72 for my work needs (MS Exchange Server 2007 & intranet site via 2 stage logon via RSA SecureID token); but I really like this phone.

Let us know please, and thanks.
