You're right, it is very laggy at times, especially in the Media Menu and the Conversations view
I'm hoping future firmware upgrades will fix it (The R1DA010 should be out soon, it's been available for the Greek for a little while now)

I did a litlle speed comparison between Aino and K850.
K850 is a tiny bit faster in the menu's.
In media it depends;
1. touch media
2. K850 media
3. Aino media in menu
But having Aino now for a month, I find the screen of K850 small.
Still a very happy white Aino owner.

Just thought I would post some initial impressions.
Overall I am happy. I knew this wasn't a smart phone and didn't expect it to behave like one.
Nevertheless, I can't help but feel SE missed a trick by not allowing access to contacts through touch screen.
No major problem though. Should also be able to access the Internet through the touch screen - damn.
It's got nice features, and the touch screen works nicely with kinetic scrolling. Great screen, great camera and video recording holds its own.
My major gripe is the lack of compatibility between the Media Go and Apple Mac. I've had to spend time finding my own free online alternatives. But I think I'm slowly getting there, with the help of this forum.
Overall the phone looks great, and does everything I want a phone to do. If I can get it to sync with the PS3, then it's happy days!

Have to admit, I've not had a single problem with lagging or speed. The menus are probably among the quickest I've had on any of my previous Sony Ericsson handsets. The only 'slightly' slower interface, in my case, is when using the camera. Everything else on mine goes fast enough thankfully.

Did you try Conversations when say you exchanged about 10+ SMS with same person? What happens on my Aino when the conversation with one person gets long is on new SMS from that person, the Events Pop-up that shows new message almost takes over 30 - 60 sec to respond when I try to open the message. Sometimes, the screen goes completely black for several seconds and suddenly pops back up. As a work around I started to delete my conversations once it reaches the size that is causing this issue. Not a great experience but in my case I don't care to keep those messages.

I've just given this a try, as I don't normally use conversations. I've got one where I have 43 texts (both sent and received involving the same contact). When I open it, it stops for about 2-3 seconds, but then it lets me scroll very fluidly through all of the messages in the conversations tab.
