Sony do seem to make the same mistakes over and over, I had the Z and Z1 they both got hot and I know the Z2 does and that's without recording 4k video.
They should also allow you to take HDR pictures and use scene modes in 20.7MP, why is this not an option?

Well after nearly 10 years of being a Sony Ericsson / Sony mobile customer, i've already decided not to buy another Sony mobile device.
The amount of horror stories from annoyed Z1 Compact & Z2 owners on the Sony forum has put me right of, go on any other handset manufacturers official forum & you don't see anywhere near the amount of complaints about handset issues.
It seems build quality & software testing is an afterthought with Sony these day's, it's such a shame to see the company loose the plot & annoy then loose long term loyal customer's.
I get the feeling devices are just rushed to market without proper testing, Sony need's to slow down, step back & take a look at what it's doing, at the moment there ruining there past excellent reputation with repeated rushed new product launches.
Sony, your customer want QUALITY products that work & customer service back up if there is an issue, not rushed new product launches every 6 months, I hope someone from Sony read's there official mobile forum & report's back all the complaint's that customer's are posting about product build quality & software bug's.

I totally agree, they should stick to one flagship a year because the launch of the Z2 has been a disaster and it has problems and issues, they do rush them out hence why some people have gaps on their phones too as well as the overheating problems.

2. Nothing else to differentiate b/w OEMs
Its not Sony's fault, they are just trying to keep up with the Koreans and now the Chinese..
No one cares what their phone can do, everyone cares about the latest benchmarks their phone can achieve.
That's why we will start seeing more and more devices like the one + one .. its inevitable. There is only so much you can overcharge for the "brand" ..

I'm after a new phone and I did consider the Z2 but issue like overheating, worried about the screen cracking, issues with the back of the phone or gaps, the fact you can't use the camera for all modes in 20.7MP.
It's probably the S5 or the K Zoom for me.

You might be right but I don't give a rats ass about specs, as long as the phone runs smoothly and works properly I don't care, I care about the camera and camera quality but everything else is a waste of time now really, there's no need for 4k screens or 4GB Ram or anything like that I don't see the point.
