Among other OEMs Sony is leader in battery too, camera as well, they have patent for in screen fingerpirnt reader for years now, they have collaboration with JDI for displays, but is Sony best or leader/pioneer in implementation of any of these in their phones? I'd say it's far from that... So being leader looks like does not do much for Sony.

So, let's do the math, How much is STE-OLED?
How much is X1 Ultimate? How much is the new BIONZ X in a9? How much is the S Master HX in WM1Z
if Sony is selling their perfect phone with 100K USD, will anyone get it? and how big will it be, how much battery capacity needed for it to last around a day

But comeon to be honest if sony wants to be relevant they have to bump up the specs and i wasnt talking about the rear facing tof rather a front facing one along with the fps..
The xz3 /s8 sized bezels is required for all phones but people making fun of s10 series just look at the number of units that would be sold
We have been hearing about jdi in display fps for years,acoustic surface coming to phones so on and so forth but in the recent years what have sony achieved rather than removing the bezels
A stupid fps positioning they realized after releasing three phones with the same mistake
Omission of 3.5mm jack
I cant recall anything ground breaking other than the dual cameras of xz2 premium
Simple praising is useless calling them pioneer and whatnot wont translate to sales
They should implement a better overall package to stay relevant thats all
They have all the technology but they are not going in with everything they got sadly

What other brands want to do with sound screen is not same process of Bravia Oled, just sound through screen.
According to PA, the earpiece of s10 cant be heard unless you ear touches screen.

Edit: So they are gonna leave the premium moniker too? Just as I expected.. I told ya all... The main reason the mid range series has not been announced yet is because of the new naming scheme.. Otherwise its production is already finished, yes? Tony if you can give any hints about the naming scheme.. I would be really happy 😊

Since tony himself is more optimistic about the new phone it should have some features that we haven't heard of
Also i think this time the pictures released very early when compared to xz3 and xz2
