nice little review there but if you ask sites to mark it down they wont just mark it as gift, they mark the VALUE of the product down so you wont get taxed. as many ppl have experienced with audiocubes.com oh and nearly all import sites give you a free universal adapter

To avoid import tax, the value of the package would have to be marked as less than £18. Any customs officer would easily be able to tell that a Sony PSP with game is worth considerably more than £18. Customs have the right to check and open any package they want. Like I said, they're not stupid!!

You might get away with it, you might not!

Good for you! Well done!

The tax on something valued at £60 would be about £10 which most people wouldn't complain too much about if they had to pay. But we're talking about PSPs, where the tax would be quite a bit more, therefore its only fair to warn people they could be faced with an additional £50 bill to pay.

I've only been taxed once on a DVD boxset that was worth about £30. The tax was only a few quid so I didn't mind.

Did I say they are going to open EVERY SINGLE package? All I said was "Customs have the right to check and open any package they want." and if they have reason to believe someone is trying to pull a fast one they wouldn't look to favourably on it.

LOL (as you say!)

i agree with joolsg4 you have to be careful ordering from abroad with expensive items

www.electricbirdland.co.uk may be more expensive but i am safe in the knowledge that if anything goes wrong it will be sorted as you get 12 months warranty and i have peace of mind that i know i wont be paying anything on top of it

lik sang may be cheaper even with any import tax but you are screwed if anything goes wrong with it

anyway i am just waiting for mine to arrive, i think there is still a backlog so it will be some time next week

it is coming with ridge racers but i want another game to go with it

what ones would you recommend, thinking of getting fifa football

I've ordered WipeOut Pure from CD-WOW for £28.99 inc. P&P with a couple of discount vouchers I had... was despatched today...

I saw a PSP video review of it on Gamespot and was instantly impressed, so instantly went and ordered it!

They are the correct folders so u don't need to change them.
I think the PSP is picky over which vids work which is why I recommend u use one of the converter apps to make the vid an optimal format for the PSP.
I use 'Sony ImageConverter 2' but '3gp Converter' is also popular & there are a few others too.
These apps will put the vids in the right format & in the right place etc.
