@freworld. Hi. Yes my phone s gprs enabled. am sure that settings are all ok. I have connected before to the live site. I have been using this trick too. I have been having this problem since the last one week. please help.

my advice wil be go 2 some other place and try(4 detecting prblm at ur place,if any)
or on some othr cel at ur place (if that solves then prblm is in ur cel )
for that format ur phone and do setings once again. Bt i dont nw codes 4 frmatin a t230 !!!
that thing occured suddnly ???
i hav doubt on setins,chek dm again !!!

{i am not using freedom, is that my problem?}
do i have to enable socks proxy

@anto if you're on prepaid and your balance is very low, airtel disconnects the gprs service. Just put some money into it and it will be reactivated automatically.

i m on airtel prepaid
and i have balance of -20.30 rs(minus 20.30 rs)
and surfin free net with 7 kB ps
is that a very high balance ????
what u r talkin about is a hoax floated by airtel customr care people
just as an another easy excuse
4 persons havin problem with airtel live !!!!!
so asto i think u got it !!!!!!!!!!

yes i have setted the proxy its not about connecting it gets connected but i cant enter chat rooms , chat rooms get loaded but when i pres enter chat room it takes hell of a time and atlast says CONNECTION TOOK LONG TIME

i would advice u 2 take a new airtel prepaid sim 4 just 99 rs(full talktime now a days) just for this purpose!!
instead of walkin with ur own old airtel connection !!
there must be no prblm as far as 99 rs is concerned,
as i think at least we can easily redeem our 99 rs (that god knows how much more than that 4 heavy downloaders) even if full talktime offer is not avialable at ur place!!!
Advantages of new sim:-
1) u get a new no 2 boast off to ur frendz at least.
(how many numbrz u have??? a cute question now a daysz)
2) in states where its easy 2 get a prepaid sim even without verification,
u get a different un known identity frm operator for such tricky things>
in the event of detection by operator of such activities and action against that u r r not detected at least by identity!!!
3) by the way a new no also for irrating people and takin revenge of those(to a defensive level) who had/are irritating u!!!!!!
