Go and read all the complaints on Talk Sony, I've just gone on there because PowerLee said about all the complaints and there are loads and quite a lot on XDA too about sound quality, call quality, overheating etc.

You might be right but I don't give a rats ass about specs, as long as the phone runs smoothly and works properly I don't care, I care about the camera and camera quality but everything else is a waste of time now really, there's no need for 4k screens or 4GB Ram or anything like that I don't see the point.

You are one of the few

Also, its not all pointless if there are practical applications for it... 4GB ram might be good if there was an application on android (other than games) which needs that kind of memory amount and it can use it. Or even better.. if android was able to take full advantage of the RAM and the multiple cores that we enjoy these day, but alas.. non of this is really happening, its mostly marketing.

Apple are a bit smarter about it.. they try to add "hardware functionality" innovations or at least market them as such. First it was the "retina" display, now they are going with "sapphire" .. customers are very easy to manipulate. They also have the fingerprint reader thingy..

I don't know if that should be your ultimate source.. people that are in fact happy with their device are way less likely to go brag about it in a forum, a person that has issues however.. that's another story.. in places like this you get way more of the second kind.

Now, there are also a lot of users out there that are suffering and don't complain, or don't know where to complain..

Its very hard to get a good sense of how good a product is... the OEMs are the only ones that have a clear picture.

Agree. I don't waste my time posting my feedback about a certain gadget if I am satisfied with it.

sadly, people who don't have it and are not even planning to have it are always too eager to spread the negativity ... this is the xperia z2 thread. if you had issues with other xperias or sony products, they have their own threads.

@northmonkey

Hey aren't you tired of writing about things you have no clue about?
Having Z2? No? So leave the space for useful posts and people interested in info not cr..p.

I really don't get it. You must be a really deeply bu..tt hurt kid
to whine over and over again about something you've never even had in your hands.

Use what you want but just leave this space with your stinkin' sh...t.
Please.

P.S. It's just sooo funny to read whining over 4k video recordings from people who actually
will never use really for anything besides some silly fun once or twice.

I completely agree with you sir, probably one of the most sensible answer I have heard.

If Sony are so bad does that make Apple too? I tell you why, I have owned Sony / Sony Ericsson for years see them rise and fall but I decided to jump ship to Apple for the iPhone 4. I thought it was amazing until I had lots of problems with it, Apple were only too happy to replace my handset until 3 months later and it's warranty was expired and it completely died. It became a bricked phone. Till this day I have never known what happened, but Apple gave me excuses and again asking me to fork out for repairs. I sold my dead 4 and bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V. That phone is now my backup phone and still works like new. So the moral of the story any manufacturer can have issues including your beloved Samsung, if they are that good then why do they have employed complaints officers lol

Personally there is people in this world who get too emotionally attached to their phones and really come 2 years time you disregard it and get the latest phone.

I have owned a Z for over 6 months and I have had not a single problem with it. I wont be upgrading for quite a while because I have more important things to worry about than mobile phones.
