As far as I remember, flagship compact models have never been released before regular size ones. So I'm almost certain XZ1 will be released before/same as XZ1C

The X Compact was announced at IFA2016 on the 1st of September and available to buy from the 5th whilst the XZ launched in early October.

In my opinion, screen/body = 77% is more than enough.
Look at Sharp S2 and iphone X.
I am sure unwanted touches will happen often.
If Sony goes 83% or higher , it won't be possible to use cam without both hands.
Or playing games without touching screen with base of fingers.
If Sony could just trim 3mm from each bezel and use 5.4 screen, it would be great.

You are half right. The problem is that with the current setup on XZ, I am covering the speakers most of the time when playing games.
