GSMArena says Samsung has now a patent to have front camera beneath screen.
Nodar said twice ( first time before IFA) Sony was planning the same for 2019/20.
If they do it first, get all credits....

Oddly enough the label location pdf states this:
Label location:
The label information will be put into the User Manual as in the label declaration
letter.
For the FCC 15.19(a) statement will also be included in the User manual due to device

Hmm wonder if this is any new high end device or the just announced models?

Rumors can be very different, but we will react not to rumors, but to actions. Of course, we are thinking about the next step in the competition, and we will have a response to the "arms race" in smartphone technologies.
But this is confidential information, I do not have the right to share it. All I can say is that we are investing money in OLED displays. And very soon you will see 4K-OLED-matrices in mobile devices, which until now did not exist.
Flexible smartphones that are suitable for daily use are much farther from mass production than it might seem at first glance. I know this because we are also interested in this kind of technique. But the next step is 4K OLED, and you will not be disappointed.

Looks like a strategy shift. Not trying to compete in the smartphone business anymore but instead play a major role in what's coming after this technological era.
