IMO, any hands-free can be used to access the radio function ... as long as it fits the connector at the bottom of course. You see, the WIRE is the one that acts as the antenna, and not any other special thing.

2.I have a Midland set under warranty & i would like to update the firmware, unfortunately i lost the warranty card. will the service center do it for free.
3. Other than Ericserve, is there any service center in KL?

Sthon, c.mon you should know the SE rules by now. No warranty card or receipt, they'll charge. As for the firmware.. It is stated in the forum here somewhere. Beside Ericserve, other authorized service center will do. Check it at SE Malaysia website.
