Does anyone know if its possible on K600 (and not v600) to "lock" the phone from the setting to gsm only instead of 3g/gsm?

i own a K600i too. phone's got good looks and features but it's really hard to sms because of the flushed keypads.
i'll probably give my phone some cosmetic changes as soon as my local SE service point releases K608i covers and keypads.
but for the meantime i'm forced to use this:
not the best solution but at least i can sms better now... and it protects my phone too.

It is possible. Just go to Settings/Connectivity/Mobile networks/"GSM/3G networks"/ and select GSM only.

The V600i with "Sony Ericsson" in the back instead of "Vodafone" can be OEM, because here in Belgium, the mobile network Proximus sells the V600i with "Sony Ericsson" in the back!

i have to admit, that k6 disapponted me once, but i rather go for the "original k600", at least the front cover is alu ( or whatever ), the voda design is very poor imo, it also looks like plastic, not just at touching it...

It is a bad quality pic but not the housing didnt come with the quickshare sticker. I have looked around for how to buy this seperately but havent been able to find it yet. It might just take them a while for them to be made or something. If anyone knows where to find this let us all know and then my phone's transformation will be complete!
