Hmm, not sure about my next target. If I can get the V3 working properly (already tested it, the mainboard appears absolutely fine, which is good news) that should provide a good profit (if my girlfriend doesn't pinch it!) with any luck, have currently got £23 in my Paypal account, with a 6100 and a T68i currently for sale. Still have a 3410 to sell as well! I've found a V3 genuine screen already fitted to a facia (the one on this V3 is very tatty and missing it's front screen cover). And as an added bonus that phone comes in the metal V3 box with all it's accessories too!

The 6100 and T68i I put on sale on Ebay end in about 6 hours, the T68i has no bids and no watchers, hope it sells!

Pretty mixed - the 6100 went for £31, but the T68i only went for about £2.85!

Probably would have gone for more if I'd managed to get it unlocked.
Some good news though - Put a new facia and screen onto the V3 I'd bought with a screen fault - now seems to be perfectly working!

What's more, it's one of those that came with the metal box, so I have high hopes for that phone. Will probably put it up for sale somewhere around Wednesday evening, see what it goes for!
I think I'm nearing the end of my experiment now, hopefully with the proceeds from that (and a 3410 I have to sell yet too!

), I could have reached my target!

I have to admit to a tiny amount of cheating when I bought the replacement housing and screen for the V3! I transferred about £10 over to my experiment's paypal account from my normal one, so I have now technically spend £22 in total of my money, the rest has been generated by profit!
I now have about £47 in that account, and if that V3 goes for £100 (perhaps a bit optimistic!) I'd certainly have enough for a K750i, or perhaps a D600, maybe a bit short of a W800i, so might have a couple more sales to go yet!
Though if I am still a little short of my target, I'll buy a cheap phone or two to fix, like a T610 or something, just to make up that shortfull (hopefully!)

wow it's only taking three months!! took me that long to save up for my current T630

by the way how much would the last T68 you sold be in dollars, because in peru (south america) I saw one about 30$ and the W800 at about 500$

If you mean US dollars, probably only something like $5, but it was locked to one network, plus it was for the phone and battery only, I didn't have a charger. Though even ones with a charger and that are unlocked probably don't go for more than £10, or just over $15.

Right, what could be the final listings in my experiment have just been listed!
btw, only the V3 and 3410 are part of the experiment, the other phones are not but any bids on them would be more than welcome too!

The V3 is the silver version, and comes complete in the silver metal box! The link in my signature takes you to the auctions.
And I suffered my first injury doing this experiment a couple of days ago. Taking the front metal facia off that V3 to clean some dust out from inside of the screen, I put my finger into it to try to slide it off. The cover didn't come off, and it cut my finger!
Strange thing is, it didn't start to hurt till I noticed the blood! Luckily it wasn't a bad injury, but just goes to show it's not without it's risks! Kind of.
