Thanks Meptik, that works great
From what i can gather, this is a problem with the phone rather than opera mini (that's what the people on the opera mini site say anyway) so hopefully it will be fixed in a firmware update.

My orange k800i is due to arrive on Tuesday - i was starting to think i was the only orange user here lol!!
Im gutted to here orange have removed the blogging function as this was one of the functions i liked about this phone - is there any way we can get this function back?
Thanks
P.S.... did you get a memory stick, data cable or headphones with yours?
The only way to get the blogging function back is to reflash the firmware to the generic using wotan or Davinci. However the orange customization is very stable so i would only recommend flashing if the blogging feature is absolutley essential.
In my box i got a data cable and headphones. I had to purchase a 1gb m2 card extra from ebay for around £40 including postage and vat.

I've noticed a small bug from my use of the last month or so, and that is disappearing key tones. I normally have the "click" but after some time the sound disappears - all other sound events continue though. Having experimented a bit, it seems to occur after an alarm has triggered. I have an MP3 for the alarm tone, but playing the same file via the Media Player doesn't recreate the problem.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?
Apart from that, I'm really happy with the K800.

Nice to see Phantasm in the forums! I have much admired your work on the Widcomm drivers over the years

Does anyone report these as bugs to Sony? I've tried to, but all the e-mails i send to the address on their website (questions.gb@support.sonyericsson.com) just come back as undelivered after 48 hours

I found a very annoying bug in my unbranded EU_2 K800i (R1CB001).
When you activate accept calls feature (before you make list of numbers which can call you ofcourse), then when somebody calls you and that number is not on the list, phone ring and vibrate for about 0,5 sec, which is enough to wake me....grrrrrrr.Such thing never happened before with W800, W810, K700 or even T610.Normaly , phone should not make any noise, just inform you that you have missed call, and that function is made for that.I dont know about other people, but this is major bug for me couse I use this function quite often.

No, but if any engineer at SE types 'K800 firmware' (or indeed K750, W800, K700, K750, T610 etc) into google then my firmware overview threads will be the top hit.
I am sure that the firmware developers do know about Esato and do read our firmware comments.

That's true. The developers at Dell often read Aximsite to find out things about the Axim PDA's.
