@masseur
Those URLs are great for a start, just wondering if there are any serious KILLER apps that nearly all ppcs should have on them?? Ive already got pocketzenphone for my phone profiles, also because i ran Magic Profiles Pro on my p900 was gonna couple it with cell profiler.

Oh and heres the picture alongside p900 with flip open:

killer apps for me are things like:

avantgo
SPB Plus
Resco file explorer (also has a registry editor)
SmartFilter (lets you choose which callers you want to answer or automatically reject etc)
and of course... TCPMP!

there's more but thats a start

you no what - i might just give in and get this phone - p990 isnt out yet and wont be on orange for a while, looks a little buggy and has no WIFI G which would be good for me as i can use it at home!

if i connect to my wifi g at home by the way, does that mean that its free to surf the internet on my mobile, just using my existing home connection?

yes... but that will be the same with the P990 too

I sit in the bath or on the loo quite often just surfing away!

WM5 has thousands of apps. I can recommend any app you need for a particular job, so just ask.

And as good as the TyTn is, if you can wait a few months.... something else might be out there , that is really hot...

...and as we know... when that something hot comes along we could wait a few more months for something hotter... and so on...

best to jump in when you're ready

My 2 cents ...

I know the SPV is a better & faster machine than the P990.
But the SPV is PDA-Phone and the P990 is obviously a Phone-PDA.

The P990 qwerty keyboard in "portrait mode" is a *must* to me, since I write a lot of SMS in the car holder while stopped at traffic lights.

I only hope the P990 becomes so reliable as my P910i.
The damn phone is so stable that Nokia S60 users don't even believe me!

just a quick question : is there any way to completely back-up a WM5 phone like the TyTn right out of the box just like you can back up the p990i or the m600i?(sms, phone log, apps, calendar, tasks...). If not, maybe you can get a software(free?) that can do just that?
